Social Media Assistant (Support Role)
Love being online and staying updated on trends? Join us as a Social Media Assistant to support day-to-day tasks like post scheduling, replying to DMs, and organising content. This role is ideal for someone who’s digitally savvy and enjoys keeping things consistent behind the scenes.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Schedule posts on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, more.
- Organise and draft captions using brand voice
- Reply to DMs and comments promptly and politely
- Help maintain a content calendar
- Resize or edit images using Canva (if needed)
- Upload short-form video clips for stories or reels
- Flag user questions or feedback to the team
- Monitor post reach, likes, and engagement
- Research hashtags or trends to improve reach
- Coordinate with content creators or designers as needed
What We're Looking For:
- Comfortable using IG, TikTok, Facebook or related platforms
- Canva skills or basic editing ability is a plus
- Clear writing style with good tone for replies
- Able to stay consistent with posting schedules
- Organised and comfortable working from a task list
- Responsive to messages and team updates
- Social media savvy — knows what works and what doesn’t
- Familiar with social platform analytics tools (bonus)
- Able to work independently with minimal hand-holding
- Great for part-timers, students, or content lovers
